Giuseppe Vitolo’s martial arts journey began at 12 with Taekwondo in Colombia, where he learned discipline and respect. In 1991, he delved into the world of Capoeira, captivated by its fusion of dance and combat. For years, Vitolo immersed himself in Capoeira’s rich culture, forging deep connections and honing his skills.
In 2006, Vitolo’s path led him to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Roger Gracie. Drawn to BJJ’s technical brilliance, he embraced its principles of leverage and strategy. Through dedicated training, he progressed to a brown belt, blending his diverse martial arts background to develop a unique teaching style.
In 2018, Vitolo bid farewell to England and embarked on a new chapter in Tarifa, Spain. There, against the backdrop of sun-kissed beaches and vibrant culture, he continues to share his passion for BJJ, enriching students’ lives with the art’s transformative power. From his Taekwondo roots to his Capoeira adventures and BJJ mastery, Vitolo’s journey epitomizes the martial arts’ enduring values of discipline, perseverance, and personal growth
